Hiking difficulty levels
Identify the difficulty of our Hiking activities in Mexico
Level 1- Easy
The participant must have good health and be an active person. It is required to hike in terrain with short slopes, marked trails and without major obstacles. Hike time will be between 2 to 4 hours including break time.
Level 2 - Moderate
The participant must have good health and regular physical activity. It is required to hike on rough trails, with long slopes; Sometimes good coordination is required to overcome rivers, trunk, rocks, etc. Hiking time will be between 5 to 8 hours including break time.

Level 3 - Good Performance
The participant must performance cardiovascular training al least 3 times a week. It is required to hike on rough terrain with differences that fluctuate between 1000 meters altitude and hike on mountains with 4000 to 5000 meters above sea level. The hike time will be between 7 to 10 hours including break time.
Level 4- Excellence performance
The participant must perform daily physical training. It is required to hike in rough terrain of middle and high mountain above 4000 masl. It is necessary to master the use of equipment such as ice ax, crampons and helmet and have a suitable clothing for very cold weather. The hike time goes from 10 to 12 hours including shorts breaks.
Level 5- High performance
The participant must subscribe to a systematized regime of training.It is required to hike in rough terrain of high mountain with snow, ice and rocks with altitudes above 6000 meters. Must have equipment, clothing appropriate to climate extreme cold and experience in techniques and tactics of high mountain. Must be capable of hike up 12 hours including shorts breaks.
